Environmentally friendly materials

We offer a selection of fine materials for you to choose from when printing your environmentally friendly project.

Green paper stocks

One of our favorite green paper stocks is Mohawk 50/10 by Mohawk Fine Papers. Mohawk 50/10 contains 15% postconsumer recycled fiber and is Green Seal and FSC Certified.

If you have a preferred stock that you'd like to work with, let us know and we can usually have it for you the next day. We've worked successfully with a number of FSC-certified papers, including Opus, Endeavor, Productolith, Topkote, Mohawk Options, Centura and Finch Fine.

Low-VOC inks

Volatile Organic Compounds, or VOCs, are petroleum-based chemical compounds that are often used as a pigment carrier. VOCs are commonly found in printing inks, paints, caulks, stains, and adhesives.

VOCs evaporate readily under normal conditions, which contributes significantly to photochemical smog production. Some VOCs are recognized as a health hazard.

As a special option, Vision Graphics is pleased to offer low-VOC, vegetable oil-based printing inks by Toyo and others.
