Recycling programs and reusable materials

We have numerous programs in place at Vision Graphics to minimize our environmental impact. We reuse volatile chemicals and we recycle everything but the kitchen sink.

Solvent recycling system

Printing requires the use of volatile chemicals and substances. We've done everything we can to minimize the impact of these substances on our environment.

We've installed a Technotrans EcoClean solvent filtration system to recycle and reuse the solvent used to wash our sheetfed presses.

By installing this system, we've reduced our solvent consumption from 22 55-gallon drums of solvent per month to only 2.5 55-gallon drums per month!

Whole-facility recycling program

Vision Graphics recycles virtually all of our post-production waste. We have programs in place to recycle not only the waste paper that we print on, but also paper and cardboard packaging material, plastic drums and other containers, aluminum press plates and other nonferrous metals, steel banding material, pallets and other wood products, press blankets and inks.

We even have a program to recycle old CRT monitors and other computer equipment!
