Vision Graphics uses EFI PrintFlow, a dynamic scheduling tool that helps streamline the entire manufacturing process. PrintFlow optimizes the use of equipment; increases capacity, throughput and on-time job delivery, and reduces waste.
PrintFlow’s dynamic scheduling allows Vision Graphics to synchronize and optimize jobs in order to achieve maximum efficiency within the production workflow. PrintFlow automatically determines the best path for each job based on available resources, job characteristics, current workload, and delivery schedules for all jobs. By optimizing the interaction of all the various activities, PrintFlow allows Vision Graphics to introduce greater flexibility into its scheduling process, thereby more effectively managing the real-world demands of production scheduling.
PrintFlow provides at-a-glance realtime schedule information. The schedule view shows all plant jobs in a single window and allows users to manipulate their job schedules. The scheduler can make changes which are reflected immediately, or he can play "what-if" games to see the effect of various production decisions. PrintFlow instantly updates the schedule to show the impact of your decisions in terms of scheduling and equipment utilization.

Creo Synapse InSite is an Internet portal into the Creo Prinergy prepress environment. InSite allows Vision Graphics to streamline the process of job submission, job-status tracking, online collaboration and remote proofing or approval, saving its clients time and money.
Using Insite, customers, prepress operators and customer service representatives can manage and track job activity, view and proof print jobs online, collaborate on changes and approve work—from any web-enabled computer, from any location in the world, at any time.
Because Insite enables the client to make content changes during the proofing phase and then re-upload the modified files back into the proof process, virtually all labor-related alteration costs associated with multiple rounds of updates can be eliminated. Courier costs and geographic constraints related to multiple proof approvals are also eliminated. The end result is that the traditional digital prepress cycle time can be reduced by as much as 80%, with a corresponding savings in overall cost.
Since going “live” with the full Insite package in May 2005, Vision Graphics has begun an aggressive campaign to convert its customers to the Insite system.
