Frontier Lettershop founded by Francis E Brooks in 1952.

1982

Frontier Printing & Mailing is sold to a group of employees.

1985

Frontier Printing & Mailing is reacquired by original founder, Francis Brooks.

1986

Mark Steputis, the nephew of Mr. Brooks, joins Frontier Printing & Mailing in Outside Sales.

1994

Frontier Printing & Mailing is rebranded to Vision Graphics.

1995

Mark Steputis is named President of Vision.

1996

Mark Steputis acquires ownership of Vision after the passing of Mr. Brooks.

1999

Vision relocates to a new 25,000 square foot facility in Loveland, CO.

2002

Vision expands with an additional 25,000 square feet and invests in 6-color 40” and 56” presses.

2004

Vision acquires First Class Direct of Fort Collins, CO.

2008

Vision acquires Keyline Graphics in Denver, CO.

2011

Vision expands digital printing capabilities with the purchase of a HP Indigo 7600 Digital Press

2012

Vision acquires marketing solution provider Eagle:xm.

2014

Vision expands production output with a Komori 8-Color 40” Press

2015

Vision sells Loveland production facility and consolidates all operations to current headquarters at 5105 E. 41st Ave. Denver, CO.

June, 2017

Vision acquires portal driven communications business, Print CPG, and appoints PrintCPG’s CEO, Jake Walker, as Vice President of Sales & Marketing

December, 2017

Vision absorbs the sales operation of Pioneer Printing of Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Mark Steputis, president and chief executive officer of Vision Graphics Inc and Eagle:xm, started his career in the printing industry in 1986 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Taking ownership of the company in 1996.  Mark relocated the company to Loveland, Colorado and changed its name to Vision Graphics Inc. During the term of his leadership, the company has grown from a local printing company into a national print and integrated customer engagement agency being recognized as one of the top 250 independently-owned companies in Colorado with world-class clients.

Keeping in line with his commitment to help his clients improve their performance through superior marketing intelligence, Mr. Steputis acquired Keyline Graphics in 2009, and Eagle:xm, an integrated customer engagement agency that specializes in leveraging marketing intelligence, in 2012. In 2017 Vision integrated two additional firms, Pioneer printing of Cheyenne WY, and Print CPG of Tucson AZ.  Today the company occupies 80,000 square feet in Denver Co.

Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from San Diego State University and is very active in the printing and marketing communications industry. Mark and his wife Candee together have three sons, and four grandchildren. Mark and Candee spend their recreational time on a ranch he has owned since 1999.

Vice President of Business Development

Jake leads the strategic growth, sales & marketing efforts at Vision. He joined the team in 2017 to lead Vision’s Synergy suite of online print and marketing automation products. Prior to joining Vision, Jake spent 8 years as the CEO of PrintCPG where he transitioned a commercial printer to an international leader in web to print, variable data printing, digital printing, work flow automation and direct mail. His experience in the print industry has been recognized by multiple industry groups as an “Industry Person to Watch” and has spoken at industry events including DSCOOP and The NAPL National Summit on Mergers and Acquisitions. Jake’s passion for the advancement of the print industry is fueled by challenging the “way we’ve always done it.”

Jake is an avid Jayhawk fan and loves spending his free time grilling, golfing and enjoying outdoor Colorado with his wife Amy and children Olivia and Drew.

David Crandall

David Crandall

Vice President of Operations

David A. Crandall serves the Vision Graphics team by overseeing all manufacturing operations, including premedia, digital and HUV press, wideformat, finishing, lettershop and fulfillment.

Joining Eagle:xm in 1999 as a project manager, David initially provided customer support to large accounts in the broadband industry. He also spent four years developing and managing the company’s strategic procurement processes and another eight year as manager of the fulfillment services department before moving into a broader production management role in 2013. His leadership has been instrumental in blending the best processes, systems and staff of the Eagle:xm and Vision Graphics brands.

David earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the Metropolitan State University of Denver. He enjoys playing all sorts of stringed instruments, performing as an 18th Century reenactor, and camping with his family in the beautiful Rocky Mountains.

Client Services Manager

I have been in the account management field since 1996 and in the printing industry since 2002. As Client Services Manager, I lead and support a team of Account Managers who are a liaison between customers and Vision’s production department making sure that the lines of communication are open and effective. Our main mission is to provide customer service that exceeds the customer expectations thus building trust and long term relationships.

I am a Colorado native and live in Evergreen Colorado with my husband where I enjoy mountain life to the fullest. I have a special love for horses, dogs and cats – more importantly, my grandkids are my heartbeat!

Vice President of Information Technology

Shell is responsible for understanding how the latest technologies may impact business processes and drivers, developing the short-term and long-term information technology strategies for the organization and managing a team of dedicated professionals in development and systems operations in providing creative solutions for our clients that assists them with their daily functions.

Shell’s hobbies and interests outside of work include family, all things motorcycle, golf, and horticulture (Ya, I like to plant things and watch them grow).

David Deaton recently joined Vision Graphics as the Financial Controller.  David is responsible for managing all of the Finance, Accounting and Human Resources functions.  David brings to the role over 14 years of financial management experience from a diverse background of companies and industries.  David holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Texas State University, a Master’s of Science in Finance from University of Houston—Clear Lake, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.  David is originally from Texas, but has lived in the great state of Colorado since 2014.  In his free time, David enjoys skiing, traveling, and spending time with his partner and his puppy, Bailey.
